02/19 - IMPORTANT - .COM and .NET Renewal Notice!!

IMPORTANT - Expired Domain Name Redemption pricing
-------------
Effective 13 February 2003, the registry operator for
.com and .net (Verisign) has introduced a new renewal
classification termed a "Redemption Period" for expired
.com and .net domain names, establishing a manual
redemption process. The registry operator will charge
us/the Registrar US$85 for the redemption in addition to
the renewal fee for renewing expired domain names. Please
note that this fee/procedure is being imposed by the
registry operator (Verisign) and is not under our control.

Our costs for this manual process are considerable and
include both the redemption fee paid to the registry operator,
plus the human resources to implement the manual process.
We have worked to ensure that we can execute the manual
process as efficiently as possible.

We recognize that the high fee for this service will be
unexpected by customers and have decided to charge a price
that only covers our costs. We will be charging US $125 for
each redemption. This is in addition to the renewal fee.

The Redemption Period should be treated as an option of last
resort for you, the Registrant. It is costly should you wait
to attempt to renew your domain name after the normal expiration
period. RENEWING YOUR DOMAIN NAME PRIOR TO THE EXPIRATION DATE
WILL AVOID THIS ADDITIONAL CHARGE PLACED BY VERISIGN.

If you must make use of the new Redemption Period for .com and
.net please contact the hosting company that handles your
registration or us at service@domain-registrations.org for more
information.
